Taxonomy
Amynilyspes fatimae was named by Racheboeuf et al. (2004). Its type specimen is MNHN SOT 2134 and is a mold. Its type locality is Montceau-les-Mines (Sotty MNHN/MHNA coll), which is in a Stephanian B lacustrine deltaic mudstone in France.
