Patagonacythere waihaoensis
Taxonomy
Patagonacythere waihaoensis was named by Ayress (1995). Its type specimen is OU 40425, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is J40/f90 - McCulloch's Bridge [Ashley Mudstone], which is in an Eocene deep-water mudstone in the Ashley Mudstone Formation of New Zealand.
