Eopengornis martini
Taxonomy
Eopengornis martini was named by Wang et al. (2014). Its type specimen is STM24-1, a skeleton (An almost complete and fully articulated subadult individual preserved in a slab (primarily ventral view), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Luozigou Village, Fengning, which is in a Hauterivian terrestrial horizon in the Huajiying Formation of China. It is the type species of Eopengornis.
