Encrinuroides gelaisi
Taxonomy
Walencrinuroides gelaisi was named by Lespérance and Desbiens (1995) [= 1989 Encrinuroides n. sp. Desbiens & Lespérance 1191]. Its type specimen is GSC 110326, an exoskeleton (enrolled exoskeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quarry 1.5 km north of the Ouiatchouaniche River, Roberval, which is in an Edenian carbonate shale/wackestone in the Shipshaw Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Encrinuroides gelaisi by Moss and Westrop (2014).
