Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
Pribyl and Vanek 1984Cephalon semicircular, moderately convex, with strongly raised pear-shaped glabella with three pairs glabellar furrows reaching about 1/4 of the total width of the glabella and running more or less obliquely arcuately backwards. Fixed cheeks subtriangular; free cheeks very narrow. Palpebral lobes slightly marked. Anterior branch of the facial suture sigmoidally curved, very close to axial furrows opposite the widest part of the frontal lobe; posterior branch from posterior of palpebral lobe running slightly obliquely backwards in almost a straight line to half-way across lateral border. Eye crescentic, situated nearer glabella than lateral margin. Cephalon with a characteristic border, which distinctly widens towards genal angles and runs out in a strongly genal spine reaches to the third or fourth thoracic segment. Thorax of 10 segments. Pygidium semicircular, eight-lobate, with a convex axis composed of 3 (+ 1) rings. Pygidial pleurae running out in bluntly lobate enlarged spines. The interior pair of spines is slightly reduced.
