Taxonomy
Terebrataliopsis compacta was named by Smirnova and Baraboshkin (2004). Its type specimen is MSU MZ 4/100 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Patil' Plateau, which is in a Valanginian marine sandstone in Ukraine.
