Taxonomy
Rocheithyris curvata was named by Alméras (1970). Its type specimen is FSL 47 917 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Premeyzel, which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in France. It is the type species of Rocheithyris.
