Tetranota scanica

Taxonomy
Tetranota scanica was named by Ebbestad et al. (2013). Its type specimen is LO 11241T, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Södra Sandby, Cementa drill core 21, 3.70–4.35 m, which is in a Porkuni carbonate mudstone in the Lindegård Formation of Sweden.

Ebbestad et al. 2013A species of Tetranota Ulrich & Scofield, 1897 with fine, sharp, regularly spaced growth lines intersected by spiral lines on the dorsal surface on each side of the medial dorsal band. The lunulae are of the same prominence as the growth lines but are more densely and irregularly spaced.
