Taxonomy
Stegnopsis erythragora was named by Amati (2014). Its type specimen is OU 11853, a cephalon/head (nearly complete, small cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LQ-WF. Lawrence Quarry, which is in an Edenian sand shoal limestone in the Welling Formation of Oklahoma.
