Omanaster imbricatus
Taxonomy
Omanaster imbricatus was named by Blake et al. (2014). Its type specimen is MPUM 8433 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Saiwan, Pachycyrtella Bed I4-2, which is in a Sakmarian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Saiwan Formation of Oman. It is the type species of Omanaster.
