Cheirolepidoptus dolomiticus
Taxonomy
Cheirolepidoptus dolomiticus was named by Sidorchuk and Lindquist (2014). Its type specimen is MGP 31343, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Heiligkreuz amber, Cortina, which is in a Carnian terrestrial amber in the Heiligkreuz Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Cheirolepidoptus.
