Rhinochelys nammourensis
Taxonomy
Rhinochelys nammourensis was named by Tong et al. (2006). Its type specimen is MSNM V3933, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is en Nammoûra, upper quarry (unit 3b), which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal wackestone in Lebanon.
