Koshisaurus katsuyama
Taxonomy
Koshisaurus katsuyama was named by Shibata and Azuma (2015). Its type specimen is FPDM-V9079, a maxilla (right maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kitadani Dinosaur Quarry (middle, BB IV), which is in an Aptian terrestrial sandstone in the Kitadani Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Koshisaurus.
