Taxonomy

Ernestokokenia nitida was named by Ameghino (1901). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Casamayoran of Patagonia, which is in a Casamayoran terrestrial horizon in Argentina. It is the type species of Ernestokokenia.

Synonyms

Enneoconus parvidens was named by Ameghino (1901). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Río Chico Oeste, which is in a Lutetian/Bartonian terrestrial horizon in Argentina.

It was synonymized subjectively with Ernestokokenia nitida by Gelfo (2010).
Ernestokokenia marginata was named by Ameghino (1901). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Casamayoran of Patagonia, which is in a Casamayoran terrestrial horizon in Argentina.

It was synonymized subjectively with Ernestokokenia nitida by Simpson (1948), Gelfo (2010).
