Amphidolops serrula
Taxonomy
Amphidolops serrula was named by Ameghino (1902). Its type specimen is MACN 10357, a tooth (Isolated left M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Amphidolops.
