Maorichelys wiffeni
Taxonomy
Maorichelys wiffeni was named by Karl and Tichy (2007). Its type specimen is UO 22021, a set of postcrania (humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boulder Hill near Dunedin, which is in a Bartonian marine marl in the Burnside Formation of New Zealand.
