R. S. Hill 1989 | Size and shape of phylloclade unknown, but possessing serrate lobes 6-9 mm long, 2-3 mm wide. Phylloclades amphistomatic, stomata with approximately equal density on both surfaces, in more or less regular longitudinal rows. Florin ring with an unlobed ridge, surrounded by a peripheral groove with a steep inner wall and sloping outer wall. Outer cuticular surface between Florin rings smooth. Cuticle covering subsidiary and epidermal cells smooth. Cuticular flange between subsidiary cells and adjacent epidermal cells shorter and thinner than other cuticular flanges, perpendicular to the phylloclade surface, giving a rinj-like appearance to the group of subsidiary cells. |
