Dacrydium fimbriatus

Dacrydium fimbriatus was named by Hill and Christophel (2001) [Type locality: Nelly Creek, central Australia (29°19´S, 137°18´E).
Specimens examined: NC-004-008, 010, 011, 016-018.]. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype: NC-004, stored in the Department of Environmental Biology, University of Adelaide., a sterile axis (Cuticle), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Nelly Creek, which is in an Eocene floodplain sandstone/claystone in the Eyre Formation of Australia.
