Yi qi
Taxonomy
Yi qi was named by Xu et al. (2015). Its type specimen is STM 31-2, a partial skeleton (articulated partial skeleton with associated soft tissue preserved on a slab and counter slab), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mutoudeng (2007 coll.), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine shale in the Tiaojishan Formation of China. It is the type species of Yi.
