Neoliothyrina dessaillyi
Taxonomy
Terebratula dessaillyi was named by Peron (1895). Its type specimen is MNHN-DHT S09920, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ciply (Dessailly collection), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in the Ciply-Malogne Phosphatic Chalk Formation of Belgium.
It was recombined as Neoliothyrina dessaillyi by Simon (2004).
