Argyrotheca popielae
Taxonomy
Argyrotheca popielae was named by Simon (1992). Its type specimen is IRScNB-IST 10512, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample 4, Van Damme quarry, Ciply, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in the Ciply-Malogne Phosphatic Chalk Formation of Belgium.
