Nerthebrochus ovalis
Taxonomy
Nerthebrochus ovalis was named by Simon (2005). Its type specimen is NHMM GK 1358B, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zeven Wegen, Vijlenerbosch (62D-15d), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in the Gulpen Formation of the Netherlands.
