Mosaethyris felderi
Taxonomy
Mosaethyris felderi was named by Simon (2005). Its type specimen is NHMM GK 586, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nieuwe Weg, Zeven Wegen, Vijlenerbosch (62D-15b), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in the Gulpen Formation of the Netherlands. It is the type species of Mosaethyris.
