Amoenophyllites amoenus
Taxonomy
Goniatites amoenus was named by Barrande (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Praha-Hlubocepy (upper Trebotov limestone, Dalejan), which is in an Emsian carbonate limestone in the Trebotov Formation of Czechia. It is the type species of Amoenophyllites.
It was recombined as Amoenophyllites amoenus by Chlupac and Turek (1983), Korn and Klug (2002).
