Baculamonocolpites hammenii was named by Jaramillo and Dilcher (2001) [Paratypes: UFP 43, 6.6 x 97.1.
Type locality: Piñalerita Creek near Sabanalarga.]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UFP 38, 9.6 x 90.5, a microspore (Pollen grain).
