Poirieria levis

Taxonomy

Poirieria levis was named by Traub (1979). Its type specimen is BSP 1943 II 334, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kch 8, Kroisbach, Haunsberg near St. Pankraz, which is in a Thanetian marine horizon in Austria.

Synonyms

Hexaplex (Paziella) robusta was named by Traub (1980). Its type specimen is BSP 1943 II 385 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kch 11a, Kroisbach, Haunsberg near St. Pankraz, which is in a Ypresian marine horizon in Austria.

It was synonymized subjectively with Poirieria levis by Merle and Pacaud (2002).
