Taxonomy
Cribrilina jonesi was named by Brown (1958). Its type specimen is MGSV, 53023 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Myaring, sample IX, which is in an Oligocene/Miocene marine marl in the Myaring Beds Formation of Australia.
