Atacamaia solitaria
Taxonomy
Atacamaia solitaria was named by Arratia and Schultze (2015). Its type specimen is MNHN SGO.PV 288, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Vaquillas Atlas, Domeyko Range, which is in a Sinemurian marine horizon in Chile. It is the type species of Atacamaia.
