Taxonomy
Bryopesanser bragai was named by Di Martino and Taylor (2015). Its type specimen is NHMUK PI BZ 6962 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TF59 Bontang, which is in a Serravallian reef, buildup or bioherm siltstone in Indonesia.
