Eogalericius butleri
Taxonomy
Eogalericius butleri was named by Lopatin (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 3107/420, a maxilla (Fragmentary right maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khaichin Ula II [SMPE], which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Khaychin Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Eogalericius.
