Soricolestes soricavus
Taxonomy
Soricolestes soricavus was named by Lopatin (2002). Its type specimen is PIN 3107/405, a mandible (Right mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khaichin Ula II [SMPE], which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Khaychin Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Soricolestes.
