Prosciurus pristinus
Taxonomy
Prosciurus pristinus was named by Wang (2008). Its type specimen is IVPP V13575, a tooth (Left P4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East of the Erenhot railway station, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Houldjin Formation of China.
