Oxynocricetodon leptaleos
Taxonomy
Eucricetodon leptaleos was named by Wang and Meng (1986). Its type specimen is IVPP V7953.1, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Caijiachong (IVPP Loc. 80026), which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Caijiachong Formation of China. It is the type species of Oxynocricetodon.
It was recombined as Oxynocricetodon leptaleos by Wang (2007), Gomes Rodrigues et al. (2010).
