Paracricetops virgatoincisus
Taxonomy
Paracricetops virgatoincisus was named by Maridet and Ni (2013). Its type specimen is IVPP V17821.1, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lijiawa mammalian fossil locality, which is in an Oligocene fluvial mudstone/marl in the Caijiachong Formation of China. It is the type species of Paracricetops.
