Ulaancricetodon badamae
Taxonomy
Ulaancricetodon badamae was named by Daxner-Höck (2000). Its type specimen is NHMW 1999z0083/0037/1, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Taatsiin Gol, right side, section TGR-B, layer 1, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Ulaancricetodon.
