Taxonomy
Conchocele taylori was named by Hickman (2015). Its type specimen is UCMP 110688 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rock Creek, near Keasey, which is in a Priabonian basinal (siliceous) mudstone in the Keasey Formation of Oregon.
