Quadrospira crassicostatus

Taxonomy
Aperispirifer crassicostatus was named by Waterhouse (1983). Its type specimen is NZGS BR546 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L3725, Exmoor Homestead, which is in an Artinskian marine sandstone/siltstone in the Tiverton Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Kaninospirifer crassicostatus by Waterhouse (2004); it was recombined as Quadrospira crassicostatus by Lee et al. (2016).
