Notolophus arquinotiensis
Taxonomy
Notolophus arquinotiensis was named by Bond et al. (2006). Its type specimen is MLP 95-I-10-6, a tooth (left M3 incomplete ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is DPV 16/84, which is in a Priabonian estuary/bay horizon in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica. It is the type species of Notiolofos, Notolophus.
It was recombined as Notiolofos arquinotiensis by Bond et al. (2009), Bond et al. (2009), Gelfo (2016).
