Mystacina miocenalis
Taxonomy
Mystacina miocenalis was named by Hand et al. (2015). Its type specimen is CM2013.18.381, a tooth (right M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Site FF1 or HH0, Manuherikia River, H41/f059, which is in an Altonian lacustrine - large claystone in the Bannockburn Formation of New Zealand.
