Kutjamarcoot brevirostrum
Taxonomy
Kutjamarcoot brevirostrum was named by Chamberlain et al. (2015). Its type specimen is UCMP100275, a mandible (right dentary with m2–4 and alveoli for c1, p1–3 and m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Leaf locality, Lake Ngapakaldi, which is in an Oligocene/Miocene fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Wipajiri Formation of Australia.
