Alashania tengkoliensis
Taxonomy
Alashania tengkoliensis was named by Vianey-Liaud et al. (2006). Its type specimen is UTL1-24, a mandible (Incomplete left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ulantatal (UTL1), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial siltstone/claystone in the Ulantatal Formation of China. It is the type species of Alashania.
