Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
A. M. Yates 2009Nevertheless, it [Lyncina (Austrocypraea) onkastoma] differs from most other members of the subgenus [except Lyncina (Austrocypraea) archeri] by lacking any external malleations, in having short columellar teeth that are usually effaced from the posterior end of the columella and in having a smooth fossula that is not traversed by extensions of the anterior columellar teeth and a smooth internal margin of the fossula.
