Umbilia (Umbilia) angustior

Taxonomy
Cypraea platyrhyncha angustior was named by Pritchard (1896) [= Umbilia sp.—Burgess, 1989: 11, fig D.—Lorenz, 1989: fig. 5.]. Its type specimen is P2671, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is PL 3028 - Cliff between Fossil & 1.5 km northwest towards Table Cape, which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Freestone Cove Sandstone Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Umbilia (Umbilia) platyrhyncha angustior by Schilder (1935); it was recombined as Umbilia (Umbilia) angustior by Darragh (2002).
