Aralosorex kalini
Taxonomy
Aralosorex kalini was named by Lopatin (2004). Its type specimen is PIN, no. 4516/600, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Altynshokysu (bone bed II), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Aralosorex.
