Fulmarus miocaenus
Taxonomy
Fulmarus miocaenus was named by Howard (1984). Its type specimen is LACM 122995, a limb element (nearly complete left humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sharktooth Hill Bonebed, which is in a Langhian terrestrial siltstone in the Temblor Formation of California.
