Neurotrichus skoczeni was named by Zijlstra (2010) [nomen novum for _Neurotrichus minor_ Skoczen, 1993, not _Neurotrichus gibbsii minor_ Dalquest and Burgner, 1941]. It is not extant.

Synonyms
  • Neurotrichus minor was named by Skoczen (1993). It is not extant. Its type specimen is ZPAL/M-2/2, a set of postcrania (Humerus dext.). Its type locality is Węże II, which is in a MN 15/MN 16 fissure fill claystone in Poland.

    It was replaced with Neurotrichus skoczeni by Zijlstra (2010).
