Dracoraptor hanigani

Taxonomy
Dracoraptor hanigani was named by Martill et al. (2016). Its type specimen is NMW 2015.5G.1–2015.5G.11, a partial skeleton (Disarticulated, but associated partial skeleton with elements of the skull, including both premaxillae, both maxillae, some teeth, a lacrimal, partial jugal, po), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lavernock Point, which is in a Hettangian marine limestone in the Blue Lias Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Dracoraptor.
