Gaylordia mater
Taxonomy
Gaylordia mater was named by Oliveira and Goin (2015). Its type specimen is DGM 810-M, a mandible (partial right dentary with complete m2-4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil.
