Paranisolambda prodromus
Taxonomy
Anisolambda prodromus was named by Paula Couto (1952). Its type specimen is DGM 262-M, a mandible (Right lower jaw of a very young individual), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Paranisolambda.
It was recombined as Paranisolambda prodromus by Cifelli (1983).
