Progenitohyus thailandicus
Taxonomy
Progenitohyus thailandicus was named by Ducrocq et al. (1997). Its type specimen is DMR TF 2668, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bang Pu Dam Coal Pit, which is in an Eocene terrestrial lignite in Thailand. It is the type species of Progenitohyus.
